Marchesseault, Mary T. (Casey), 96, died peacefully at Orchid Ridge Senior Living Community in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on May 18, 2023, with family at her bedside. Born on January 27, 1927, in Providence, Rhode Island to Joseph and Eileen Casey. She grew up in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She graduated as the Valedictorian of her 1944 North Kingstown High School Class. In 1949, she married the love of her life, J. Edward Marchesseault, Sr., and had a happy and fulfilling 56 years of marriage together. They moved the family to Whittier, California in 1955. The family had many adventures and happy times together while in California but returned to Rhode Island in 1965 to be closer to family. She was the Human Resources Administrator for Gulton Industries until her retirement. Her interest in singing led her to the Little Rest Chorus of Sweet Adelines International as a member and group coordinator for 16 years. Frequently traveled throughout the United States to see her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews up until the age of 94. In 2015, she moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to be with family and friends. She loved Coeur d'Alene and enjoyed all it had to offer. She moved to Orchid Ridge Senior Living Community in 2021 and made a very special friend there by the name of Jean. They became close friends and shared many of the same life experiences. They were inseparable. Thank you, Jean. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Orchid Ridge Senior Living Community. She had only the highest praise for the staff and the facility. Mary will be reunited with her beloved husband in Rhode Island. She is survived by her sons Paul, Edward, Peter, and David Marchesseault as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
