I was a next door neighbor to Kevin in Springfield MO when we were both in college back in 1985-86. It was so much fun and Kevin was just a great guy with a wonderful spirit (we both had too much spirit at times), I was curious what happened to Kevin and decided to try and look him up. I was very disappointed to see this obituary. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing...He was one of the most successful District Managers I had the privilege of working under during the thriving years of CPI...His praises and advice gave me the tools to become one of the successful Managers in his district and later to be able to branch out and become a trainer for his successor...I remember visiting him in Idaho with my husband and the pride he had in showing us his Trans Am...The joyride we got in it was most memorable.. He will never be forgotten...May he rest in peace

As said in many of these Kevin changed my life. He was the one who first believe in me and promoted me over the phone at a Sears studio in Fairbanks AK. Shortly after that he was moved to different area and I didn't hear from him for a while. After moving to WA state I had the chance to run into him again where he made the most impact on my life. I really got to know him, before leaving the company he made sure that I was taken care of in my own studio. He always stayed in touch and no matter where my family and I moved in the world he made sure to send a Christmas card and thank my husband for his service in the military. I credit him with my endurance and the strength it takes to wait for what good is to come. Even when he found out I was starting my own studio last year he was still there with that encouragement. I learned a lot from the man. It truly saddens me that he is gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Kevin changed the entire course of my life. By promoting me to a Trainer, I discovered a passion for teaching. He gave so many the opportunity to expand their horizons and try new things. We didn't always see eye-to-eye, but I respected his talent for recognizing talent. RIP Kevin. Life is less interesting without you in the world.

After leaving Aurora as a child, lost touch with the family. I smiled when his Trans Am was mentioned. I was much younger but remember how utterly COOL he was. Sorry for your loss.

Kevin was a very nice man who gave me a break when I was hired on With Sears portrait studio in 1998. With doing that I left Sears in 2006 but started my own Company Coeur d Alene Photography in 2002. They he and Val my other boss let me do my own business and Sears. If it wasn't for that break and believing in me I wouldn't be doing what I am doing today. I thank you Kevin for letting me be apart of a great team. When Ever I would see him he would have us all laughing, he was a funny guy.
RIP Kevin .......... Hugs to your family
