Dad, today is the first anniversary of your passing. I miss you so much. I miss your laugh, your wisdom and your love. I know that you are up above watching over our family and especially mom. Today will be a hard day for all of us. Life has not been the same since you left this world. Your loving daughter, Debbie ( DeeBee BeeBee)

Larry played a huge part of my first years in District #81 as a beginning new teacher. Larry wore the hat of a fellow educator rather than as a supervisor. He was always available. Whether it was with a phone call or a visit to my classroom to see if there was anything I needed to help to make my day a better day. I remember Dr. Larry sense of humor. His laughter was contagious and he always saw humor in the situation. He made me feel important and professional. He truly was a special man that you could trust. Dr larry will always have special place in my heart. Susan Reiter

Dear Lee & family, George & I were very saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He was a very sweet man & we always enjoyed his quick Irish wit. May he rest in eternal peace and may you all find comfort in the wondeful memories I know you have of him.

We have all been blessed for all these years to have my Uncle Larry in our lives. He was my favorite Uncle, and my Mom's favorite brother. He came home from the war the year I was born, and I have many pictures of me as an infant and Uncle Larry and Uncle Tom in their uniforms. " Hey Bub" was their affectionate term for me..a military referral to your comrades in arms. Our family was directed into special education fields because of his years of concern for his twin Sister Florence, "Teets", who was born with Cerebral Palsy. I was the flower girl in Aurelie and Larry's wedding, and always felt a particular closeness to both of them. I was fortunate to have just seen them this past summer, having lunch and a long visit. This is how I remember all of the O'Hares....food, drinks and fun! I will always remember the really good family times! Love you...Bub

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family, Lee. Larry was very sweet and had a great sense of humor. I have only known you both for about 14 years and I have to say, I didn't know Larry was such a great scholar. I guess not many people speak of their past life, though.
I do know, however, that he will be missed by so very many out here at Twin Lakes Village. He was a very warm person and I will miss him a lot. May your memories keep him fresh in your hearts.
