Obituary of Charles Richard Nellist Jr.

Charles Richard Nellist, Jr., age 53, of Harrison Idaho (formerly of Elk Grove, California) passed away on April 7 in Harrison, Idaho.

Funeral service with military honors will be held at 11AM on April 28^th at Doran Park, Bodega Bay California. Arrangements made by Bell tower Funeral Home, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.

Charles was born in Palo Alto, California to Charles Richard Nellist, Sr. and Carole Joy Nellist (Vance) on September 30, 1964.   He attended Dillard Elementary and Elk Grove High School.  He graduated from St. Leo University with a Master’s of Business Administration.  He worked as a military logistics specialist on behalf of the Navy and Marine Corps for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Iraqi and Gulf Wars, served with distinction in the Navy and retired a Chief Petty Officer. He was awarded numerous citations and accolades during his career as a logistics specialist and Navy Chief Petty Officer.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Carole Joy Nellist (Vance).

Charles is survived by Carole Grace Nellist (daughter), Gregory Nellist (brother), Jacqueline Harwood (Nellist) sister, Lori Dubie (Nellist) sister, Charles Richard Nellist Sr.(father) and Patricia Nellist (Sumaquero), stepmother.
