Harlan was an icon in the City of Rathdrum. There was not a person who did not know or deal with him at some point in their life. He was a compassionate giving person who loved his job, family, and friends. I grew up in Rathdrum & have known Harlan all my life (62 years). He was an awesome neighbor & friend. His easy going nature made those difficult times a lot easier when dealing with tragedy. You will be truly missed, Harlan, and I am blessed to have known you all these years. My condolences to all of his family. Godspeed, Harlan.

I pray peace to all the family. Harlan meant so much to our community and all his friends. Paul, my late husband, used to love to meet up for coffee with all the guys at one of the restaurants in Rathdrum. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and wonderful smile! Rest in peace my friend!
