I have known Harlan since I was 10 yrs old. Coincidently, we lived in the farmhouse near Iroquois, S.D. that his Mother had also lived in many years earlier. When Harlan and my sister, Barbara, were married I was the Bridesmaid. Harlan has always been like a “ big Brother” to me. I am so glad that my husband, Dave, and I had the opportunity to visit with him in 2017. I have so many great memories of him, he was a very giving, selfless person.
